Spec Results Autism Center provides ABA services for children beginning at 2½ years old.

Our Daytime ABA Program is designed primarily for preschool-age children who have not yet reached compulsory school age. Once children are school-age, services are generally provided through our After-School ABA Program from 3:00 PM–6:00 PM.

We believe school-age children should have access to their educational programming while receiving ABA services in a way that complements their school schedule.

Our center-based programs operate Monday through Friday.

Daytime ABA Program:
9:00 AM–1:00 PM

3:00 PM–6:00 PM

Individual schedules may vary depending on clinical recommendations, medical necessity, staffing, and insurance authorization.

There is not one set number of ABA hours that applies to every child.

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) completes an assessment and makes treatment recommendations based on your child's individual needs and medical necessity. Your insurance provider may also review the treatment plan and determine the number of hours authorized for coverage.

Because our center operates structured daytime and after-school programs, the services available through Spec Results must also fit within our program hours.

Yes. In-home ABA services may be available on a case-by-case basis based on the child's clinical needs, family circumstances, staffing availability, location, and insurance authorization.

 

The BCBA will determine whether in-home services are clinically appropriate as part of the assessment and treatment-planning process.

For children who are school-age, Spec Results generally provides ABA through our 3:00 PM–6:00 PM After-School Program rather than replacing or functioning as the child's educational program.

Parents remain responsible for ensuring that school-age children meet applicable educational and school-attendance requirements.

Insurance requirements vary by plan and payer. Many insurance plans require a qualifying diagnosis and documentation supporting the medical necessity of ABA services.

Our intake team will review your child's insurance information and let you know what documentation is needed before the assessment process begins.

Every treatment plan is individualized. Depending on medical necessity and the child's assessment, treatment may address areas such as:

• Functional communication

• Social interaction

• Daily living and self-care

• Following directions

• Emotional and behavioral regulation

• Safety skills

• Independence

• Play and leisure skills

• Transition skills

• Reduction of behaviors that interfere with everyday functioning

ABA goals are selected based on the individual child's needs rather than using the same program for every learner.

Availability depends on the program, staffing, clinical needs, and requested schedule. We intentionally keep enrollment limited so that our clinical team can maintain a supportive environment, provide individualized attention, and ensure that each learner’s needs can be appropriately supported.

When spaces are unavailable, families may be placed on our waitlist and contacted as openings become available. We encourage families to complete the intake process so we can determine whether our program is an appropriate fit and identify the best next steps.
